ICON Bantaoyao Crafts Studio of Jiao-Zhi Pottery & Chien-Nien
space
Introduction
Factory ToursBantaoyao was established in 2005. Founders/couple Chen Zhong Zheng and Zie Qiu Duan are enthusiasts in traditional crafts; since talents in the field of temple Chien-Nien Jiao-Zhi pottery are gradually disappearing, while the transformation through time has widened the learning gap among craft learners, hence in order to continue this traditional craft, they have created Bantaoyao. The park consists of an exhibition hall, experience studio, café, as well as elegant oriental garden landscaping; combined with the countryside scenery of the adjacent Jia Nan plain, this is the perfect sanctuary for Jiao-Zhi and Chien-Nien crafts.

Main products include decorative material for temples in Taiwan, Chien-Nien and Jiao-Zhi, truly the essence of Taiwanese temple culture. The rich artistic and elegant style is favored by the public. The factory occupies a space of 2,000 Ping, with facilities such as the cultural inheritance hall, experience studio and the exquisite oriental garden; this is the ideal venue for school excursions and aesthetics education, as well as the perfect spot for appreciating art and recreation for the entire family.
